I have been widowed for seven years with two children just out of college in the south and east. I use to be very active playing golf, scuba diving and traveling on adventure trips. Got WNV/Encephalitis/Chronic Fatigue August 08 . My family is all out of state and they were all wonderful to take me in last winter and take care of me and my mother took me in this summer. I am doing better (I can talk and walk) and I can now take care of myself, but I think I have a long way to go. Still tired all the time, headaches, eye pain, body pain, lack of concentration. I miss not being able to read a book! I am fortunate to have wonderful friends and neighbors and my doctor even lives across the street. I know I am going to get better. PS this website has been a savior.
